I have a longstanding obsession with Kate Schelter. I've been eagerly scouring the internets for more images, articles and interviews. While trying to appease my insatiable demand for Kate Schelter, I stumbled upon this interview. As I'm currently planning my spring break, the timing couldn't be better. This is a pretty phenomenal packing list.

Rules for my unborn daughter...
The easiest way to avoid looking lazy or unintelligent is to proofread.
So true- you can never edit a document enough.
That being said, this advice may be a little bit more of the "do as I say, not as I do" variety

My winter Wardrobe
A black turtleneck sweater has become my winter go-to, I feel like it frames the face beautifully even if you're face doesn't have the same cheekbones as Mrs. Kennedy

Turtlenecks
A leading candidate for winter wardrobe's MVP is my big black turtleneck sweater. The cashmere feels sumptuous after a long day on the slopes, and when I pair it with skinny jeans and a blazer I feel like Grace Kelly (or you know, Phoebe Philo).

That old story

It is so horribly cliche, but I can't help but picturing myself as I'm Ali McGraw. The current popularity of camel and cable knit sweaters has been far too tempting. I was even thinking about dusting off the old ivory keys, but then I remembered that I'm not really a Radcliffe music major. Lets just say that my roommates are thankful.

When the Season Change pt 2

Several weeks ago I went to visit some friends who are now studying at Harvard. It was an absolutely beautiful weekend- blue skies, crisp air, and fall leaves. When I wasn't obsessing about fall in new england, I was able to notice that the harvard student body is quite well dressed. I thought dressing like Oliver Barrett IV went out out of stylewith the advent of affirmative action, but my weekend in cambridge proved me wrong.
Ever since my visit, I've been dreaming of over the top preppy classics. Schoolboy blazers, corduroy, tartan, Barbour jackets and sweaters with elbow patches dance through my mind.

Advice, like youth, probably just wasted on the young
Don’t feel guilty if you don’t know what you want to do with your life…
the most interesting people I know didn’t know at 22 what they wanted to do with their lives
some of the most interesting 40 year olds I know still don’t
